Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the setup and day-to-day operations of our warehouse and ensuring that all logistics and supply chain functions are carried out efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, including experience with warehouse management systems, supply chain management, and materials management.- Responsibilities:- + Manage the warehouse and shipping operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products. + Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of warehouse equipment and machinery, including forklifts. + Develop and implement efficient warehouse layouts and storage systems.- + Analyze demand planning and procurement processes to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs. + Utilize the ERP systems to track inventory, monitor performance, and streamline processes. + Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and operations. + Monitor and manage warehouse budgets and financial performance, including profit and loss statements. + Identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to increase productivity and reduce costs. + Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategic plans for the warehouse operation. + Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols.- - Requirements + HS Diploma or accredited GED + Experience in warehouse management, including experience with warehouse management systems. + Strong knowledge of supply chain management and materials management principles. + Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment. + Strong analytical skills to analyze demand planning and procurement processes. + Experience with distribution center operations.- + Proven ability to manage budgets and financial performance. + Strong communication and leadership skills. + Knowledge of procurement processes and practices. + Ability to think strategically and develop plans to drive business results. + Experience with systems and software related to logistics and supply chain management.- Saint-Gobain provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
