Position Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT)
Location: Syracuse, NY
Contract Type: 13-Week Assignment
Pay Rate:

• Traveler: $57/hr
• Local: $48.20/hr

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) for a 13-week contract role in Syracuse, NY. Ideal candidates will bring strong clinical experience and a commitment to excellence in respiratory care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory therapy services in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols
• Operate and manage mechanical ventilators and respiratory care equipment
• Perform arterial blood gas sampling and analysis
• Administer aerosol therapy and other respiratory treatments
• Accurately document care and collaborate with interdisciplinary medical teams

Requirements:

• Valid New York State license/registration as a Respiratory Therapist
• Associate’s degree (A.A.S.) in Respiratory Therapy
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
• Proficient in managing ventilators, performing arterial punctures, and delivering therapeutic respiratory treatments
