Harleysville Materials is a Quarry and Asphalt Plant in the heart of Montgomery County, PA, and is one of the oldest Argillite Quarries in the area. Today we continue the rich tradition of mining in Montgomery County and expanded our operation to include a Hot-Mix Asphalt Plant. The Quarry is ideally located to serve the Delaware Valley and all points in New Jersey.

QUARRY/DIRT LABORER

Harleysville Materials is seeking a Quarry/DIRT Laborer to work out of their quarry in Harleysville, PA.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform basic labor functions, such as lifting, shoveling and climbing, at heights up to 70 feet, in a steady and safe manner
Participates in all mandatory training classes
Maintains a clean, well-maintained and organized work area
Work in outdoor processing environment
Directing and placement of Dump Truck (s) for dirt distribution
The ability to use an IPad for essential job functions
Additional assignments as deemed necessary by supervisor

Qualifications / Requirements:

Must be age 21 or older and have valid driver's license
Able to work independently in a results-driven, fast-paced environment
Team player
CDL licensed a plus
Able to be on call for Emergencies on the weekend and flexible to work overtime as required
