Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled  Metal Polisher to join our team in  Tulsa, OK . This position involves  deburring, grinding, and polishing sheet metal and metal castings to meet specific finish requirements. The  Metal Polisher will work with a variety of metals, including  brass ,  bronze ,  aluminum ,  gold , and  silver , using both hand tools and power equipment to ensure high-quality surface finishes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deburr ,  grind , and  polish sheet metal and metal castings.
• Use  hand and power wheels/belts to polish various metals including brass, bronze, aluminum, gold, and silver.
• Read and interpret  job travelers ,  blueprints , and/or  drawings to determine specific finish requirements.
• Identify and correct  defects to achieve a smooth, specified finish.
• Report any defects to the  supervisor .
• Set up and operate standard  manufacturing equipment .
• Maintain a  high level of attention to detail and ensure all work meets company quality standards.
• Complete assigned work within given timeframes and specifications.

Position Requirements:

• Familiarity with  shop equipment and various  power tools .
• Ability to work in a  fast-paced production environment .
• Strong  communication and  interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Problem-solving and  troubleshooting skills .
• Commitment to  health and safety standards , including reporting hazards and following company procedures.

Physical Requirements:

• Must use  proper lifting techniques and be able to lift up to 50 lbs .
• Ability to perform essential functions including seeing, hearing, bending, standing, walking, handling objects, pushing/pulling, and fine finger movements with  manual dexterity .
• Work in a  manufacturing environment with exposure to  noise ,  dust , and  temperature fluctuations .
